Mauro came to our shelter shortly after he was born on the streets of Honduras. Despite his difficult start in life, he has grown into a happy, playful, and loving young boy. He enjoys spending time with people, playing with other dogs, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get.<br/><br/>Mauro is looking for a family that will give him the safe and loving home he has always deserved. He is fully vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, and ready to start his new journey.<br/><br/>Like all pets from Fundación Perros Sin Nombre, Mauro is currently located in Honduras. We do not charge an adoption fee, but adopters are responsible for transportation and travel documentation costs to the USA.

Our adoption process begins with an application and screening to ensure the pet is a good match for the adopter’s lifestyle. Approved adopters are able to meet the pet and discuss their care and needs. Because our rescue operates in Honduras and many of our pets travel to the United States to find homes, there is an adoption fee that helps cover veterinary care, vaccinations, sterilization, travel documentation, and transportation to the U.S. The total cost to bring a dog to the United States is approximately $1,500.
