Maureen, affectionately known as Mo, is an absolute love bug and one of the most affectionate dogs you could ever meet. She’s a happy, easygoing girl who’s just as content going for a walk or romping around the backyard as she is curled up on the couch soaking up all the snuggles.<br/><br/>Mo has quickly become her foster’s little shadow and loves to keep her person in sight at all times. She does wonderfully with other animals and currently lives peacefully with a 6-year-old Aussie mix, a 12-year-old “grumpy old man” Chihuahua mix, and a senior male tabby cat. She’d love to play with the Aussie, but politely accepts that not everyone shares her enthusiasm — couch co-existence is her specialty!<br/><br/>She appears to be house trained (no accidents so far!) and already knows sit. Mo is smart, eager to learn, and picks up direction easily, making her a great candidate for continued training. She’s gentle, not much of a jumper, and would likely do very well in a home with children… though she has been caught doing a little counter surfing (hey, nobody’s perfect 😉).<br/><br/>Nicknamed “Slinky” for her adorably awkward way of carrying herself, Maureen’s goofy charm is impossible to resist.
