MATTIE

POSTED 1/4/07: This is being posted at the request of the dog's current owner. This dog is not part of our program and to adopt her, please contact the owner directly. Mattie is a 10 year old, papered, Labrador Retriever. She has been spayed and is current on her vaccines. She also has a permanent identification microchip and is on heartworm and flea prevention. She was adopted by her current owner about 3 weeks ago when her original owner moved into town without a fenced yard to keep her in and gave her up for adoption. However, her current owner has 2 other dogs, a cat, and small children and Mattie is just more than she planned on. Mattie is still a very active energetic girl. She gets along well with kids and other dogs but she tends to be too intense and too focused around cats. She would do best in a home where she will have a fenced yard and someone to either exercise her daily or with land for her to run on.
