Matrix's Story

Meet Matrix! Matrix came to AWS after we pulled him from Jefferson County Animal Control. He was surrendered to them after his owner could no longer afford to care for him. We are hoping to find him a new home! He is estimated to be just over 1 year old & weighs roughly 40-45 pounds. His breed mix is unknown, however we believe he is full grown. The previous owner stated that Matrix gets along with children and other dogs. It is unknown how he is with cats. Meet and greets are required for children & other dogs. Matrix is a sweet, vocal, lovable boy. He can be shy at first, but warms up quickly. When he first arrived, he was apprehensive about being leash walked, but he has gotten a lot better. Just like all dogs in a shelter environment, Matrix will need work on house breaking upon going into a home. We believe with structure and routine that he would catch on quickly. Matrix is neutered, fully vaccinated, & microchipped.
