Found as a stray at our local shelter, no one ever came looking for him, but we are determined to make his next chapter his best one yet.<br/><br/>Mater is about 4 years old and lives life like a giant puppy. He passed temperament testing, knows a solid sit, and brings big personality wherever he goes. He is strong on leash, excitable, and full of joyful chaos, so a dog-proofed home is important for this zoomies-loving guy.<br/><br/>He loves playing with balls, soaking up attention, and being adored. With other dogs, Mater can be a bit much, so any canine sibling would need to be the right match with slow introductions. He is not a fan of cats, and older, sturdy kids would be best for his enthusiastic affection.<br/><br/>Mater is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and currently in boarding.
