Masha's Story

* *—OUT OF TOWN PET —**
FOSTERED IN SALTILLO MEXICO AND READY TO TRAVEL TO THE EAST COAST ON OUR NEXT CROSS COUNTRY TRIP MEX-USA
¡IF ADOPTED ! —**

Masha is a stunning Alaskan Husky, about 5 years old, weighing around 55 lbs. She is a truly majestic dog—her sky-blue eyes captivate you instantly, and her noble presence makes her unforgettable.

Masha has a calm and affectionate personality. She loves people and runs to strangers for pets and attention, showing no signs of aggression. She’s eager to please, learns quickly, and has a wonderfully balanced temperament—loyal, brave, social, and affectionate. She is playful, fun, talkative, and has a curious “chismosa” nature that makes her even more charming.

She does well in a crate for up to 12 hours without accidents and walks on a leash, though she can still pull a little because of her excitement to run. She enjoys toys but can be a bit protective of them, especially since other dogs sometimes try to take them. When bored and without toys, she may chew on wood, plastic, or anything she finds. Like a true Husky, she loves to howl and bark, and she has a stubborn streak.

Masha can be territorial with other dogs, especially dominant ones. She’s not aggressive, but she likes to establish herself as “the boss,” sometimes with playful nips or by pestering her companions. With children, however, she is loving and gentle.

Masha has been waiting five years for her forever family. Right now, she only knows life in a patio—she has never experienced the joy of going for walks in the park, running freely, or exploring the world beyond. She deserves a home where she can finally live the full, beautiful life she has been waiting for.

Masha is not just a dog—she’s a majestic soul, a loyal companion, and a loving friend waiting for someone to open their heart and give her the home she has long deserved.

—**ADOPTION PREFERENCES:

* VERY ACTIVE FAMILY WITH OTHER DOGS AND KIDS PREFERABLY.
* FAMILIES WITH OPEN CONSCIENCE ABOUT WHAT IS THE RESCUE OF STREET ANIMALS AND THEIR BEHAVIORS OF NEED FOR PROTECTION AND EDUCATION
* * *WITH EXPERIENCE IN DOG BEHAVIOR AND TRAINIG BACKGROUND.
*HIGH TOLERANCE AND PATIENCE FOR RESCUED DOGS

+@- Realize that our dogs may have been traumatized before coming to ADAC and may undergo an adjustment period in a foster or new home. Patience and understanding are a MUST when dealing with rescued dogs.

+*“ NOT HOUSE TRAINED “**.

**Our big job with rescued pets is to rehab their health, taking them to the vet as many times is require for their vaccines, spay/neuter, surgery, diseases, rehab emotions, attend their necessities such as feeding them, cleaning their common areas, keeping them entertained, safe, healthy and protecting them from any dangerous situation. We have so many pets in foster that it is an impossible job to house-train each one !!!**

——— A D O P T I O N P R O T O C O L

1.) This will be conducted by a ADAC team member and can include the foster of the dog as well.

3.) Home check
A member of the ADAC team will visit you in your home or virtually to ensure it is the best fit for the dog you are interested in adopting.

4.) Meet n greet
A member of the ADAC team will organize with you and with your prospective pup and the foster home, a virtual meet n greet This video call is for you to meet the pet and for us to make a visual check of your home and meet all your members of your family. Sometimes we also send a volunteer to do a home check in person.

5.) Trial adoption period
If, after the meet n greet, the potential adopter and the ADAC team member agree this is a good fit, we will send you an adoption contract. THEY ARE ANIMALS THAT ARE SINTIENT BEINGS WHO HAVE BEEN RESCUED FROM SITUATIONS OF SEVERE ABUSE, AND ABANDONMENT. WE INVEST TIME, MONEY, A LOT OF EFFORT AND EMOTIONAL STRESS FOR THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL REHABILITATION, WHICH WE DO NOT MAKE ANY MONETARY CHARGE FOR THAT SOCIAL WORK.
BECAUSE OF THAT WE TRIED TO DO AN EXHAUSTIVE INVESTIGATION OF THE POSSIBLE NEW FAMILIES OF OUR BELOVED RESCUES.

¡ Doing the Right Things to Find the Right Family !

Every animal we rescue deserves a loving, safe, forever home. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously at ADAC. We are grateful to receive messages from individuals interested in adopting one of our cats or dogs, but we must take certain steps to ensure their safety, as best we can.

Every potential adopter must fill out an application and answer questions that help determine their suitability. Many of our enquiries come from outside of Mexico and we are unable to conduct a home visit. Therefore, we ask for photos of the residence as part of our due diligence. For example, if the dog in question is an escape artist, we would need to know if the yard is fenced, if you have enough space for a pet, if the conditions of the home is suitable for a pet, and a photo/video would assure us of this.

We would like to continue with the adoption protocol, for this we need to receive photos or video of your home to confirm that it is a safe and suitable place for the pet.

This information we obtain from potential adopters is shared only with members of the adoption team involved in the application. Our database is only accessible by select ADAC members, and we never share any personal information with any other organization or business.

If you are not willing to share the information we need to finalize an adoption, we invite you to explore other organizations. These animals are our family and we need to know they will be cared for as such.

We are proud to have connected many beautiful animals into loving homes. You can search in our pages on Facebook, Instagram and our Website for many examples.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and we ask for your patience during the process of finding the very best match.

Our dogs are fostered in Texas or Saltillo Mexico, but available for adoption in various cities/states.

For more information about our association please access our website at:
https://www.adacmx.com/index.html

https://www.facebook.com/almaibeth.salinas
adacanimalista@gmail.com
eyelemei@gmail.com
www.adacmx.com
https://www.facebook.com/ADACSALTILLO/
ADAC-MEXICO REVIEWS
https://g.co/kgs/voUvTC

Twitter: @AdacAnimalista1
Instagram: ac_adac
