Marz's Story
This incredibly handsome boy is Marz! But if you’re thinking about adopting him and making him your bestie, then please call him Marzi! This boy is literally on his second life! We’re not sure how his first life went, but we do know it didn’t go well. He narrowly escaped being euthanized after finding himself in an overcrowded kill shelter. Marz is an incredible boy! He has been here way too long! He is so silly and so sweet and so confused about life at a rescue! He wants his very own family. He is deaf and does know how to sit on command, using hand signals. He will come at the wave of a hand. If he wants attention, he is not shy about telling you! It sounds as though he’s actually talking! It’s the sweetest thing!

When he came to us, he was incredibly bouncy and would play a little rough. He didn’t hear us or our reactions (tone) to his rambunctious so it took some extra training and time to help him learn to be more gentle and calm. He has come such a long way! He has put on a bit more weight and is not nearly as bouncy. He absolutely loves people, but he would definitely not be a great fit for a family with small children.

While he does get along with other dogs, he would absolutely love to be your one and only. His adoption fees have been cut in half by an anonymous donor, who was hoping to help him find a home sooner rather than later.

We are so unsure of his breed mix that we are willing to pay for a DNA test for this little dude! We all absolutely adore him and we know there must be a family, a mom or a dad for this crazy cool kid!!

If you are interested in providing our sweet Marzi a forever home, please fill out an application for him at Projectcecilrescue.com under the ADOPT tab.

***IMPORTANT NOTE***

***If you call, please leave a message! I am also a teacher and cannot get back to anyone until after the school day is over. People are calling but not leaving us messages. This is my personal phone. I will return the call. You can also text- 419-481-2744. Again, most likely I will not return the message until after the school day unless it is a weekend or summer vacation! ***
