The sweetest little gal around. She is a spunky and playful girl that gets along with everyone. Kids, dogs, cats... Mary has not met anyone she does not like. Unlike a lot of rescue pups, she likes men and immediately attached to her foster dad, following him around. She loves playing in the snow and taking walks, so a fenced yard would be ideal. Mary gets an A++ in good behavior and has never pottied in the house or chewed on anything she was not supposed to. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night but would likely prefer to be in bed with her people. She has also been left loose in the home during family outings and was well behaved. At just 8 pounds, she easily settles into routine life. If you are looking for an already potty trained, medium energy, playful and friendly mini dog with a lot of life and love to give, she is your gal. Did we mention her one floppy ear and slight underbite? Cuteness overload.

All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved.

RescuedOhio's Adoption Policy
We have a single application whether you want to adopt a dog, foster a dog in need, or volunteer with our organization. Please note: Our application takes up to 30 minutes to complete. Our application is very detailed because we want to understand the specific needs of your home and match you with the best dog or volunteer opportunity possible. We require all adopters to complete this application in its entirety before discussing the potential adoption of a dog. RESCUEDohio application process: - Return a fully completed application to us. Incomplete applications will not be considered (you should receive an email confirming your submission). - We review your application, contact vet and personal references, and contact your landlord if applicable. - Next, we schedule a home visit with you. A home visit may be done in-person or virtually by one of our volunteers. All members of your home must be present for the home visit. - Next, we approve or deny your application and notify you. Check your spam folder as our communications are sometimes categorized incorrectly. - If your application is approved, we will forward your application to the foster family who is fostering a dog that fits your application criteria. They will contact you to set up a meet-and-greet so you can meet the dog. - If the meet-and-greet is successful, we will notify you and arrange to finalize the adoption. You will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee in order to finalize the adoption. You enjoy a lifetime of love and devotion from your new four-legged friend!
