Mary Puppins's Story

Meet Mary Puppins — Your New Best Friend in the Making

With her squishy Shar Pei rolls, big boopable snout, and a heart full of joy, Mary Puppinsis ready to sprinkle a little magic into her forever home. This 3 year old is spayed, vaccinated, and UTD-on-preventatives sweetheart has overcome a lot—and she’s still the happiest little Energizer Bunny you’ll ever meet.

Mary is deaf, but don’t let that fool you—she doesn’t let anything slow her down. She can sense vibrations, pick up on shrill noises, and most of all, she reads the world beautifully with her expressive face and powerful sniffer. She zips around the yard with incredible speed, plays hard, and lives life with pure enthusiasm.

A Heart of Gold
Mary has already helped two anxious, nervous rescue dogs come out of their shells—her confidence is contagious. Now she’s hoping someone will help *her* bloom in the same way. She’s sweet and affectionate, but her adopter will need to be committed to helping her continue her training. She’s eager to learn, and with consistency and routine, she’s poised to thrive.

Home Life & Manners
Mary keeps her kennel mostly clean, and with structure, she’ll settle beautifully into a home environment. On leash she does well, though her favorite thing in the world is running free in a safe yard—she is **fast**, funny, and absolutely full of life.

Mary plays rough and rowdy and loves canine friends who can match her energy. She has done well with other dogs (slow introductions always recommended). Because she can be protective of high-value food, treats, and toys, these should be given separately. For this reason, she would do best with **older, respectful kiddos** who understand her boundaries.

The Silly Side
After all that zooming and bouncing, Mary crashes *hard*. She sleeps in the most hilarious positions, legs in the air or curled like a cinnamon roll—she’ll keep you smiling even when she’s snoozing.

A Journey to a New Beginning
Mary and her best doggy friend Lucy Mae were found wandering a rural area back in August. Lucy has long since found her home, but sweet Mary is still waiting for her happily-ever-after. She’s the kind of dog who gives her whole heart, and she just needs someone willing to give her a chance and guide her gently along the way.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a source of laughter, a running buddy, and a dog who radiates joy despite her challenges, Mary Puppins might just be your perfect match.

Mary Puppins is waiting to float into your life – umbrella not included.
Contact Michaela to meet Mary Puppins today 6607235010.
