Mary Puppins's Story
Meet Mary Puppins — the happiest whirlwind you’ll ever love
Mary Puppins is a 3-year-old Sharpei mix with a squishy face, endless rolls, and exactly two speeds: OFF and FULL SEND. She is pure joy wrapped in wrinkles, curiosity, and confidence.
Mary is partially deaf, but don’t let that fool you—this girl is brilliant. She’s learned to navigate the world using hand signals and a vibration collar, and she can still hear shrill sounds. Her intelligence shines through daily, even if her impulses sometimes beat her brain to the punch. She’s inquisitive, enthusiastic, and always ready to see what’s next (especially if it involves climbing… because Mary climbs everything).
She’s a lot—in the best way. Mary does best with submissive, dog-savvy dogs who can handle rough-and-tumble play. She may share toys with certain friends, but food and treats should be enjoyed separately, as she prefers her goodies to herself. She gives very appropriate warnings and has never shown issues with people handling her food, treats, or toys.
Despite her high energy, Mary has been doing fabulous in her kennel and keeps it clean. She walks well on leash, rides nicely in the car when seatbelted, and while she may whine for attention now and then, she’s not a barker. She’s simply a happy girl who wants to be part of whatever you’re doing.
Mary is not cat-friendly, but she is incredibly dog-social and has been a true gift to our rescue. Found in August alongside another dog who has long since been adopted, Mary stayed behind—not because she’s lacking, but because she’s special. She’s been a confidence-booster for shy rescue dogs, including Fox, who was once scared of everything. The two are best friends, and Mary helped show him how good life can be.
She is spayed, fully vetted, and up to date on vaccines and prevention meds. Mary is our longest resident, and her bags are more than packed—she’s ready for her forever home.
If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, challenge you, love fiercely, and bring nonstop life into your home…
If you’re in for the cutest challenge—Mary Puppins is your girl. Would do best with older respectful kiddos since she is so hyper.

Mary Puppins is waiting to float into your life – umbrella not included.
Contact Michaela to meet Mary Puppins today 6607235010.
