Mary-Kate

Mary-Kate is a 1-2 year old, 9 lb mixed breed Terrier. She and her sister were found as strays by one of our volunteers, likely dumped in the neighborhood. After working hard to catch them, it was a success, and the girls went to animal control to complete their stray hold in case an owner came to claim them. No one came, so the girls entered the rescue.<br/><br/>Mary-Kate is understandably shy at first but comes around quickly. She is extremely sweet and loves attention. She will come over to you and give you kisses. She smiles when she's nervous, and it's extremely cute. She is good with other dogs but has not been around cats. She is crate-trained and doing well with house-training.
