Mary's Story
Mary - Female - Adult
Shepherd cross
Born Dec 2024
Weight 26kg, Jan 20/26

When this medium-sized momma Mary came to her foster home she was caring for her seven little dwarves. Now the pups are growing up and looking for their own furever homes, so it's time for Mary to go off on her own adventure! At her last vet appointment she weighed 60lbs and was spayed so she can start on her journey.

From the beginning Mary was a gentle, soft girl. She took a while to start showing her personality outside of being an attentive and doting momma. Now that she is starting to spend more time away from her pups a more playful side has appeared. She loves playing with toys and is not afraid to steal any toy one of her pups might be playing with and running away with it. Mary's foster brother has also convinced her to play with someone her own size!

Inside Mary is very polite with the other dogs, as she is more submissive with them. She is still learning a little what is a toy and what isn't, but she hasn't been destructive with the "toys" she finds. Mary has started training and is working on sit and down. She is fairly easy to get into her kennel for a rewarding treat and sleeps well through the night.
Mary is good about going potty when she is outside. Her foster mom takes her outside right out from the kennel and if she needs to go out she whimpers by the door. Mary has just started to like the idea of going for an actual walk. It was too stressful leaving all those babies before! Now she wants to go exploring with her foster brother or all the resident dogs. Mary's interactions with cats has been limited. She has been curious, but extremely polite with the cat she has met.

Mary has won over every person she has met. They all comment on how sweet and soft she is. This good girl is a little shy at first but quickly gets her wiggly butt going for some pets. She loves snuggling into you and getting endless scratches. She has not had much experience with children yet but her foster mom believes her personality would make her a match with them.

If you are looking for a sweet young girl that loves people, Mary is your girl. She would love to have a furry companion or be your solo love bug. Apply today!

Adoption fee is $295. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed and current on vaccines.
