Mary's Story

Mary is a COURTESY LISTING, so please contact Terry or Paul at 212-645-8611 for more info. Here's Mary's story in her own words: "I need a home... My family abandoned me. I ran and ran and finally I took refuge at College of Mount Saint Vincent at the foot of the statue of the Virgin Mary. I will be your best friend! I have very good manners inside and out. Kind strangers fed me and took me to the vet. I love people and dogs and I want someone special to take care of.”

Ok now here's some info from Terry & Paul who found Mary! Mary is precious, pretty, and elegant. Well-adjusted and well-behaved. She was once a well-cared for dog. We will never know why her family let her go. We can’t know what that was like for her. Can you accept a loving companion into your heart and home? You won’t regret it, but if for any reason it doesn’t work out, Mary’s sponsors will take her back no questions asked. Small shepherd, approximately 35 lbs. - 40 lbs., about 4 years old, spayed, house-trained, leash-trained, up-to-date on shots. She has been observed to be well-mannered around other dogs, cats, children, and strangers. She loves any kind of chicken and hamburgers. In a nutshell - Mary is a GEM!! Please call Paul or Terry at the number above or you can also email Paul at aion111@aol.com. Thank you so much!
