Marvin's Story

Meet Marvin! Marvin is a sweet, sensitive boy. He definitely comes off as a wallflower when you first meet him, as he takes some time to warm up to new people and environments. He never barks or growls, but he will hide behind his foster mama. Although timid with new humans, he LOVES meeting new dog friends. Marvin was very attached to his biological sister. After she was adopted, he moved his attention to his big foster sister instead. His favorite thing is to play tag with her when they both have the zoomies.

Once he is out of his shell, Marvin is very playful and loooves toys. His favorite are squeaky toys (maybe because he is normally so quiet). He will try to eat rope toys, however, so he can't have them unsupervised. He likes to relax with his humans, too. He isn't super snuggle-focused, but he will chill out on the couch and watch TV. With the people he loves, he is an energetic, peppy pup!

Marvin is doing great with potty training. In his foster home he goes to the door if he needs to use the bathroom and hasn't had an accident recently. In a new home, he might need time to adapt to a new routine and environment. Marvin is also doing well with crate training. He doesn't have accidents in his crate overnight or when crated during the day.

Marvin's ideal home would be an active one with at least one doggy friend, and no kids or cats (he's never aggressive, but he is very intimidated by them). He loves long walks in the neighborhood and lots of playtime to get his puppy energy out.

Marvin is 4 months old as of April 2026. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application and home visit, his adoption fee is $318.

If you are interested in adopting this particular dog or puppy, please see our Adoption Guidelines at http://www.humanesocietyall.com/applications/ .
