MARVIN's Story
Marvin came to us when his previous person got a new job and couldn't take care of him any more. He has become a staff and volunteer favorite with several volunteers taking him on field trips fairly frequently, here are some of their notes: “He loved the mini tire chew toy that is virtually indestructible, he marched around with this around his muzzle like he had won a prize and it was so adorable. A friend of ours dropped by and he was very sweet and polite when meeting her.” We ran into four or five dogs, including a couple of off-leash dogs, and Marvin was friendly to all. If we did a short sniff/hello, he was 100% well-behaved. Overall, a fun hike with an energetic young guy who's desperate to play, if a little unskilled at doing so. Marvin was an attention magnet, many passersby stopped (and some came to us from a distance to say hello. We heard the adjectives cute, adorable, handsome, good looking, funny, and goofy. He interacted with many people from kids to seniors and he was friendly and affectionate with everyone. Marvin is a young adult dog and fully grown at about 50 pounds, his adoption fee has been paid by a special family. he is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing fee may apply depending on where his adopter lives.
