Maru's Story

Meet Maru | Apply Here

Want to relive your childhood and get a lambchop, but craving the love of a real companion? Maru. The answer is Maru.

Maru is our little lamby boy - he's 4 years old and 14lbs so definitely mostly miniature poodle fluff. Our rescue partners Dorothy helped bring this boy to the spotlight and he is definitely thriving in it.

Though he arrived not long ago, it only took Maru a few days to adjust to his new lifestyle. He's quite the character and keeps his foster family very entertained! Maru sleeps the best when he's pressed up against something - his crate, the wall, the couch, a human leg or foot, anything will do. He's easily gained confidence outside on walks and now does little lamby hops on his way out the door, and spins in celebratory circles on the way back into the building. Maru is sure to make your Monday blues disappear into the beautiful horizon.

You don't have to wait for an adoption event. In-person meet-and-greets are available in the NYC area, with virtual meet-and-greets available for adopters outside NYC.

Meet Us in Person

Just Food for Dogs - 651 Driggs Ave Brooklyn NY

Adoption Hours: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Saturday, March 28th

Learn more about our adoption process:

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-procedures

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-faq

Korean K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit saving dogs from the Korean dog meat trade and overcrowded shelters.

Support our mission:

• Donate: www.koreank9rescue.org/donate

• Patreon: www.patreon.com/koreank9rescue
