Martin is an adorable, tiny Maltese on the hunt for a loving forever home! This sweet little guy made his way to K-9 Lifesavers from Alabama, where adoptions can be few and far between — and he brought plenty of his Southern charm with him! Martin is sweet, affectionate, playful and full of love. He adores people (loves to be held) and is also wonderful with other dogs. With his friendly personality and loving nature, Martin will make an excellent companion and a wonderful addition to just about any home, although he does have a lot of say sometimes so an apartment might not be ideal.. This deserving boy is ready to leave his past behind and start his happily-ever-after. Could that be with you? Apply today and change Martin's life forever!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org

SPONSOR ME!
