Update 10/2026<br/><br/>MARTIN — THE BIGGEST GOOFBALL WITH THE BIGGEST HEART! <br/><br/>Ohhhh, Martin! This boy is just something special! He is the kind of dog you meet and instantly fall head over heels in love with!<br/><br/>Martin is sweet, goofy, lovable, and absolutely LOVES his people! He also seems to have forgotten one tiny little detail... HE IS NOT A LAP DOG! But don’t bother telling him that! If there’s a lap available, Martin is pretty sure it belongs to him!<br/><br/> And that POOL?! Oh my goodness! It’s his FAVORITE pastime! Pool right side up, upside down, full of water, empty... Martin doesn’t care! If there’s a pool, he’s ALL IN! <br/><br/> And speaking of that pool... Martin was SUPER excited to see Rachel! So excited, in fact, that he made sure to give her one BIG hug! Now, did we mention he had JUST gotten out of the pool and trampled through the mud?! Nothing says “I LOVE YOU!” quite like a giant, wet, muddy hug from Martin! Sorry, Rachel! But hey, that’s just Martin making sure you know how much he loves you! <br/><br/>And guess what else?! Martin did GREAT with 13-year-old Connor, too! This boy just continues to show us what a sweet, people-loving goofball he really is!<br/><br/> He loves his people!<br/> He’s done great with all the dogs he’s met so far!<br/> He’s a water-loving, pool-obsessed goofball!<br/> He’s affectionate, silly, and full of personality!<br/> And as much as he loves all those things, he might just love his girl Sahara even MORE!<br/><br/>But here’s what we really want you to know about Martin. <br/><br/>He’s still just a puppy. A big puppy with a whole lot of love to give and a whole lot of things left to learn.<br/><br/>Martin has spent most of his young life in a shelter or boarding. Think about that for a minute. During some of the most important, formative months of his life, he wasn’t learning what it meant to live in a home. He wasn’t learning all those everyday things that puppies need to learn.<br/><br/>He simply hasn’t had the opportunity.<br/><br/>Martin needs someone willing to give him patience, consistency, structure, and foundation training. Someone who understands that he’s learning and that he isn’t going to know everything overnight.<br/><br/>And let us tell you, THIS BOY IS WORTH IT! <br/><br/>He’s smart, he’s lovable, he’s hilarious, and he has SO much potential! He just needs someone to invest in him and show him what being part of a family is all about.<br/><br/>Martin deserves more than a boarding kennel. He deserves a couch, a family, a yard with a pool (he’d REALLY appreciate that! ), and people who will love him through all his goofy puppy moments.
