High energy, eats poop from other animals and humps a lot. Does not walk well on leash, pulls a lot and eats random stuff on walks. Chases cats but does well with dogs."

Per day trip 12/7: "I had Marshmallow yesterday for a day trip. We went for a walk and she showed interest in all people and dogs, no aggression just curiosity. She is very strong and was at times hard to control on the leash but eventually settled into a routine and walked nicely. After the walk we relaxed in my apartment and she played with a toy. She showed a lot of affection and just wanted to be around me! She took treats nicely but did jump up on the counter and barstools when treats were in sight. Overall a very sweet dog!"

Per staff 12/7: "Marshmallow has warmed up a lot recently! When I went to send her on a day trip, she greeted me with wiggles in her kennel and after leashing, she jumped up on me to say hi. She can pull strongly on the leash but did check in with me! In the office, she was very confident sniffing around and greeted other staff with wiggles and tail wags. She was easy to dress and easy to get in the car. She also met Scallion yesterday and they spent a lot of time together and seemed to help each other open up."

Per staff 12/4: "Kennel Presentation: Marshmallow was sleeping on her bed when i approached. called her to the front and with a tucked tail and neutral eyes she approached me. i was able to easily secure her and she came right out
Leash Skills: pulls minimally - nervous on leash
Sociability: Marshmallow followed me around the room as i picked up some toys. she had a tucked tail and neutral eyes. i offered her a treat she took it gently. i asked her to sit an she sat patiently waiting for another treat. i let her sniff my hand and her eyes got a bit wide. she walked away and came back to me when i was sitting on the bench. i let her sniff me again and offered another treat. she sat next to me and let out a deep breath. i slowly started touching the top of her head which she was tolerant of but not sure if she enjoyed it. she walked right back to across the room. she came back to me once i offered another treat and started getting more tolerant of all over handling in spurts when it included food.
Play: did not attempt
Dog Interaction: n/a
Return to Kennel: walked back with a midlevel wag, was more curious of people, going up to sniff them, walked back into kennel and sat near the front
Color Level: exp blue - could be blue with more time and interaction"

Per staff 12/2: "Dog was scared but I was able to leash her, apprehensive to get in truck but I coaxed her in with food."

Medical Notes:

On 12/11: Marshmallow was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. Her PCR is pending.

Per an exam on 12/4: Marshmallow was found to be in good general health and was noted to "allow all handling"

Per an exam on 12/4: Other than a scar on her front right leg and slight tartar on her back molars, she was found to be in good general health.
