Marshmallow's Story

While checking his LIVE Coon trap in WV, instead of snagging a pest, the nephew of an avid dog rescuer caught the little dog that everyone had seen running back and forth since October! She was starved and had eaten a whole bag of marshmallows, which was the inspiration (not to mention her white chest tuft) for her new name. He was able to get her out of his trap and bring her home with him. Although you couldn't get close to her while she had been running, she is absolutely as sweet as she can be! Bathed, brushed, and so much better, Marshmallow is waiting for a new family. Stay tuned for improved photos, but feel free to stop in and meet her in person. ON the smaller side and about a year old, Marshmallow is said to be a natural with kids and seems to like some other dogs.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
