Marshall's Story
Marshall is about 5 years old and weighs 65lbs. He appears to have had some prior training and is very loving. He walks well on a leash and is incredibly well mannered and appropriate with people. Marshall is a hard NO for homes with cats or other small animals. We have not been able to test him around other dogs yet. Unfortunately, Marshall is Stage 2 heartworm positive (moderate symptoms including a cough). We still anticipate Marshall will do very well with his treatment; we're just slowing down the timeline a little bit. We do not anticipate any long-term complications, although we would not recommend him to be anyone's future running partner.

Marshall is in Birmingham and we anticipate him being medically cleared for adoption early/mid May. If interested in adopting Marshall, or any of WRS's rescues, please submit an application for adoption at www.weimrescue.com.
