Hi, I'm Marshall - but you can call me Marshy! I'm a 5-year-old, 70-pound brindle lovebug with a big heart and a goofy grin. My favorite thing in the world is playing with balls - I'll chase them, carry them, and even kick them around like I'm playing soccer. I'm a social guy who especially loves the ladies, but with a little patience, I warm up to men too. I think kids are great, as long as they're respectful and don't get right up in my face - good manners go both ways, right? When I'm not showing off my ball-handling skills, I love hanging out in the yard or going for short walks. I had surgery on one of my back legs, so I'm happiest keeping things under a mile. After some fun, you'll usually find me proudly trotting around with a Benebone in my mouth before I settle down to chew - or to snuggle up on the couch for some cuddle time. I'm also a bit of a talker and like to share my thoughts, so I'd be best suited to a home with some space rather than an apartment setting. Our adoptions process is designed to get animals out of shelters and into happy adoptive homes in a streamlined, efficient manner. All of our available animals are highlighted on our website and on petfinder. Simply contact us at adoptme@sfcva.org or fill out a non-binding adoption application for an animal at www.sfcva.org. We have events every weekend. Event listings can be found on our facebook page, facebook.com/squishyfacecrewva. Most of our adoptable animals are adopted at these events. 1) Apply Online at SFCVA.org 2) Meet + Greet OR Come to an Event! 3) Adopt! Our application fees are as follows: Kittens: $150 ($75 for a second kitten) Puppies under 6 months: $350 Adult Dogs: $250 Cats: $125 All pets are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption.
