Marsh's Story

What do you do with a boy named Marsh?
It's a serious question.
Marsh is a very young, very, very big boy. He's over 100 lbs and he is untrained. That means if he jumps on you, you'll feel it. But he's also very sweet.
Marsh came from an abandonment situation with two other dogs, one injured. We don't know who initiated the tussle and Marsh has battle scars on his head, but because we aren't totally sure if he's the instigator, Marsh will be an absolutely NO CAN DO with other animals. we're also going to say no with children, because he is so big. Even if he's playing, he big.
We've posted this guy a couple other times and we've gotten a fair share of hate - email, fax (fax?), messenger, and voicemail from what we can only assume are bully breed hate groups (or one very persistent, hateful person). We are turning off comments on him because, if you have something negative to say, we just don't want to hear it. We're tired and we're not looking for criticism. We are looking for a solution.
We do not create these situations but we do try our best to solve them, lovingly. ??
Marsh needs, and deserves, a soft place to land. He's so worth it.
