She spent her life in a hoarding situation where she gave birth to five puppies. When she first arrived in foster care she was understandably terrified of the world. But with patience, kindness, and the help of her Foster family and their dogs, Mars has been able to feel safe, relax and is blossoming more every day.<br/>In her foster home, Mars is a happy, playful little dog who loves being part of the family. She enjoys playing fetch, zooming around the yard with the other dogs, and following her foster mom everywhere like a tiny shadow. She is a classic Velcro companion who just wants to be near her person. <br/><br/>While Mars is doing wonderfully in a home environment, she can still be nervous meeting new people or visiting busy places like pet stores. Because of this, she is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will give her the time and love she needs to continue building confidence.<br/>The reward?
