Mars's Story

Meet Mars!

Mars was seen being dumped from a truck by gas station employees. The suspected owner drove off before any information could be gathered about their vehicle unfortunately. Mars roamed a nearby neighborhood begging for food and a safe place to sleep. Some local business owners and animal lovers fed him until the Adore team could make our way out to save him.

Mars is currently boarding with a local dog trainer and he is learning to become a dog again. Mars loves every person he meets and nobody is a stranger. He is great with other dogs, he gravitates more towards other energetic dogs to run and play with. With structure and guidance from humans, he could also live in a home with cats. Mars would do well with older kids who he couldn't accidentally knock over. His recall is amazing and we think he would do amazing with a family.

Mars is about 2 years old and weighs 45-50 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is heartworm positive and has already started the slow kill process- which we will provide monthly heartgard to his future adopter to cover treatment.
