Marnie's Story
AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Marnie! Marnie is a 3-4 year old female corgi and she weighs about 30 pounds. Marnie arrived in rescue after her previous family could no longer care for her. She has settled into foster care and her foster mom says: Meet Marnie, your new favorite shadow! This affectionate soul is the ultimate companion for someone seeking a calm, devoted best friend with a secret silly side. If there were a gold medal for snuggling, Marnie would win it; her favorite activity is being wherever you are, ideally curled up right next to you on the couch. You won't have to worry about the basics here, as she is fully house-trained and has mastered the art of indoor manners. While she enjoys leisure neighborhood walks, her true joy is a secure, fenced yard, where she loves to explore every sniffable corner and occasionally burst into hilarious "zoomies." This sweetheart is crate trained, and she currently requires crating when left home alone to ensure she stays out of trouble and feels secure in her own space. She is still working on her confidence and may need a little extra patience and positive reinforcement to continue feeling settled in her "den". Marnie's ideal home would be someone who is home more than gone, and no small children. Forget the squeaky toys; this dog prefers the simple life and isn't interested in playthings, choosing instead to focus all her attention on her favorite person and outdoor explorations. If you’re looking for a loyal, "velcro" companion who values affection over toys, look no further.

Marnie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned!

Marnie is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $500. If you are interested in applying to adopt Marnie, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
