She also came into rescue with numerous sores from presumed allergies. She is all healed up from that but may require allergy treatment in the future. Currently doing well without any meds though. She also has a very small tail pocket which will require periodic cleaning.

Housebroken: Yes

Crate trained: Yes, she does great in her crate.

Good in the car: Yes, she is a great copilot

Good on a leash: Yes, she is easy to handle.

Energy level: medium

Need a fenced in yard: no

Dog Friendly: Yes. She lived her whole life in a home with 3 other dogs. She is very “in your face” with other dogs to initiate play.

However, Marlowe Jean is not a fan of dogs, larger than she is! Marlowe Jean only wants to be the big dog!!

If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes?

Not necessary, but Marlowe Jean would love to have a bestie, as long as they are small!

Cat Friendly?

Yes, with our dog savvy cats.

Kid Friendly: Yes. She will bark at anyone new...young or old.

If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Kids old enough to give her space at first until she warms up.

Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Marlowe Jean is a sweet and playful little girl. She loves it when I pretend to “get her” while she darts back and forth on the sofa. She also loves to chase after her sister, chew on her bones, and nap with her people. She is not much of a snorer but once in a while she makes soft little sounds. She can't wait to meet her forever family!

Fosters Location: Harrington, DE

Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application (if you already have an approved application on file email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com and ask the app team to pull your app
