Marlin's Story

ID 59303595

*Meet Marlin!! This black beauty is a young guy between 1 and 2 years old, approximately 50 lb and appears to be a black lab and pittie mix. He had a tough beginning that left him very thin with scars around his head, but this hasn't stopped his playful personality from shining through.

Marlin is the perfect family dog! He loves kids, adults and other dogs. He loves to play and absolutely loves treats. He is very affectionate, often leaning into his humans for some lovin'.

If you love taking your dog for a walk, Marlin is the perfect partner. He is gentle and doesn't pull on his leash. Marlin is the perfect package and all you could ask for in a dog. Loving, happy, affectionate, playful, energetic and people and dog friendly. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body!

We think he might have missed being taught how to behave in his first important developing months since he is still jumpy and tries to nibble like a puppy does. His adopters should definitely use their training voucher to help correct this behavior. Our shelter volunteers are already working on these corrections as well.

If you think you have interest in Marlin, please stop down to the shelter to meet him or you can meet him at any of our events since he is a volunteer favorite to attend one.
