Marley

Marley is a 10 year old Maltese mix. He was found as a stray and dropped off at an emergency vet in North Carolina. After a week of TLC, the hospital released him to rescue. He is emaciated and desperately needs to gain some weight. The problem is, he seems to be the pickiest eater we have ever known. What he likes and will eat today, is not necessarily what he will want to eat tomorrow. I’ve been told that can be typical of the breed. I’m worried because I don’t feel he eats enough to keep a bird alive, but that doesn’t stop me from trying to help him. He is depressed after being abandoned like he was, but I’m hopeful that will change with love and time. <br/><br/>He is a sweet little guy that doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He loves to cuddle. The groomer reported that although he wasn’t a big fan of the dryer, he did fine during his groom. Marley is completely up to date on his vaccines, he’s been neutered and he’s also had a dental. All he needs now is food and love.
