Marley's Story

Meet Marley!
Marley is a 1 year old Labrador Retriever x Shepherd mix. She is not yet spayed, but is up to date on her core vaccines!
Marley came to us as she just needs a home that can accommodate her energy levels. She is a very fun and spunk girls that is very treat motivated! She does seem to know a few basic commands, but she will need some more training as she is just a pup yet.
In her previous home, Marley was around dogs and kids and did great with them. We have noticed here at the shelter that she seems to be a bit dominant towards other dogs, but that could be partly due to anxiety as she gets used to us. Marley does great with other dogs and children! However, she has not met any cats yet and we are not sure how she will do with them.
Marley is a very sweet girl, but she can be nervous in new situations. The shelter is much more chaotic than the average home, and it can be scary for newcomers as they adjust. We have noticed that Marley doesn't like loud noises, and she doesn't like if her leash gets pulled on. It's going to take some time to fully earn her trust, but we promise that she is worth the effort!
If you are interested in meeting Marley, call or stop by the shelter to meet her!
