MARLEY's Story

Meet Marley (A564786) When Marley first arrived as a surrender, she was in very rough shape. At only 30 pounds, it was clear she had not been getting the care she deserved. Thanks to good meals, a safe place to rest, and plenty of TLC from our staff, Marley is already up to 40 pounds and continuing to gain strength every day. Despite everything she has been through, the most remarkable thing about Marley is how incredibly sweet and trusting she still is. She holds no grudges. All she wants is to be close to people and soak up the love she has likely missed for far too long. Marley has been fortunate enough to spend time in a foster home, where she has truly been thriving. According to her foster, she has done wonderfully with children between the ages of 6–12 and gets along great with both small and large dogs. She rides calmly in the car, did great during bath time, and spends most of her day quietly following her foster around the house, perfectly content just being near someone. She is a gentle, resilient soul who has been through more than she should have, yet still greets the world with kindness. Marley deserves a soft place to land and a family who will give her the love she has always deserved. Marley is guesstimated to be 7 years old and weighs 40 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Marley? Please reach out to her foster at kristaleen85@gmail.com All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
