Marissa

Marissa is a beautiful all white pitbull type mix, estimated to be about 4 years old. <br/>She is very friendly and sweet with humans of all ages. <br/>She is fantastic at maintaining eye contact with her handler, which is her way of connecting & following cues and hand signals. She is super playful, loving to play fetch with tennis balls and stuffies. She prefers to spend her afternoons romping in the sunshine followed by a nap and her evenings snuggling up or curled up with one of her favorites chew toys before bedtime. <br/>She does well with polite dogs who aren't too forward in their introductions, but is not a fan of felines.<br/>She came into the shelter as a stray who was known in her neighborhood for being on the loose often, but her owners never came to claim her and she has been stuck in a shelter kennel since before Christmas. <br/>We would love to see Marissa find a home before another season goes by!
