Mario was found as a stray on the streets of NYC. This terrified boy was trembling when he was caught by police who brought him to a municipal shelter. It's hard to say what his life was before he was found, but he's clearly been through a lot. He was completely shut down when he first arrived at Animal Haven - he trembled in the corner and wouldn't even take treats tossed near him.
