Marina's Story

Meet Marina!

Marina is a social, affectionate 2-year-old who’s equal parts snuggly and playful. She loves running in the yard, playing fetch, and proudly carrying her favorite toys around the house—followed by curling up into the tiniest little ball for a cuddle. She’s food-motivated, smart, and already knows several commands, including sit, stay, “leave it,” “look at me,” and lay down. She’s also crate trained and happily puts herself to bed at night!

Marina adores her people and loves being part of the action. She’s friendly and affectionate once she meets you, though she can take a moment to feel comfortable with new people—especially men. She’s working on building her confidence on leash and does best in a calm, steady home that helps her feel secure. Marina enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a canine friend; she just appreciates a slow introduction to get things started on the right paw.

This sweetheart is gentle with older kids who understand dog boundaries, walks nicely on leash (especially on trails or in parks), and will keep you smiling with her evening zoomies and joyful energy. Once she’s part of your family, she’ll be your most loyal, loving companion—and might even sneak in one of her signature “ear kisses.” ?

Want to meet this wonderful girl?
