I was underweight, had a double
ear and eye infection and needed to be spayed, but today I have a
clean bill of health.

As a puppy mill dog, I was caged my whole life and used solely for
breeding purposes. While in foster care, I have had the opportunity to
experience a lot of things for the first time: touching grass, walking on
solid ground, walking up and down stairs, running, playing with other
dogs, drinking fresh water, eating healthy meals, and most
importantly, being held, loved and appreciated. I am utterly happy
while experiencing these simple things, and my foster home loves
watching me.

I need to build my confidence. I never had love and affection, so I
constantly want to be held. I will put my head on your shoulder and
sigh with relief. But I do need to learn independence rather than be
coddled ALL the time.

I am approximately 4 years old, but I am very puppy-like, so I need to
learn everything. I want to be in a home where I am the only dog
with a strong support system to help me grow and thrive socially. I do
play well with other dogs, but I sometimes forget where I am and who
I am with and I become possessive of my toys.
Will you be my angel and wrap your loving wings around me?

If you think Marie would be a good match for your family, the first step is the adoption application, available for download from www.bostonterrierrescuecanada.com
Although we are pleased to answer specific questions about our rescued dogs, we cannot proceed until we have your application in hand.
BEFORE YOU APPLY...we ask that you carefully read the general information about our adoption policies available on our website (including home visit requirements and adoption fees, and also that you be sure you meet the specific requirements for the Boston you are interested in adopting.
<font color=""red"">We do not ship our dogs -Marie is currently being fostered in NAPANEE, ONTARIO
