Margarita's Story
Hi, my name is Margarita, Margie for short. I was tossed out of a car window with my sister, Chiquita, where the homeowners catahoulas immediately attacked us. The homeowner contacted APAWS and was told to drop us off at one of their vets to get checked out and put into foster care. Well, needless to say, we were very frightened and bite the vet, the vet tech and the APAWS volunteer. Well, its been a couple of weeks now and we have definitely settled down quite a bite but since we seem to be prone snappers and Chihuahua (possibly beagle) mixes the APAWS volunteers think that we should go to a home with NO SMALL CHILDREN and possibly no other pets.

I am a little girl, about 10 weeks old and have had my first couple of sets of shots and heartworm preventative but too small and young to be spayed yet. Since I am still a baby, I am not housebroken but my foster mom is working with me. They think that when I grow up, I will be a small to medium size dog, about 20 or 25 pounds.

If you are interested in me please fill out an on-line application and my foster mom will get back in touch with you. http://www.apawspets.org/application.html
