Margarita was found as a stray running around a Garcia's restaurant; smart girl knew where the good food was! Margarita was taken into rescue and no owner came forward to claim her. Margarita is a gorgeous dog with a great personality. Check out that pretty patched coat and glacier-blue eye! Margarita is a social gal, with both people and other dogs. She enjoys play-wrestling with her dog pals as well as chasing the ball or squeaky toy. Margarita is happy to take a pause from play-time and enjoy some pets and cuddles with her human friends. Belly rubs are a favorite! Margarita knows "sit" and walks well on leash. She would love to learn more tricks and training in her forever home. Margarita is a smart and active young dog, who will need lots of exercise to keep her mentally and physically happy. True to her Husky nature, she is a bit of an escape artist and can find her way out of (or over!) her kennel. Margarita will require a secure backyard with at least a six-foot block fence.
