You can call her Maggie, Marjet, Marg — she’ll answer to all of it with her whole butt wagging like you’re the best part of her day. She’s the kind of dog that quietly steals your heart without ever demanding it. Calm, gentle, and perfectly in-between, Margaret isn’t over the top or glued to your side — she simply fits. I work from home, and every day you’ll find her tucked under my desk, just existing peacefully. No chaos, no fuss — just her calm presence reminding you to breathe. She loves everyone who walks through the door, but she doesn’t beg for attention. She’s happy just being included. Margaret is incredibly trustworthy in the home. A crate isn’t needed, though she goes into one without a second thought. Watching her discover toys, learn that play is allowed, and slowly let her personality shine has been one of the most rewarding parts of fostering her. She’s not a big eater, prefers little snacks throughout the day, and would be perfectly content as an only dog or with a calm companion. Kids 12+ would be a great match for her gentle soul. She’s easily potty trained with regular outdoor time, walks nicely on a leash and collar, and would love a fenced yard to call her own.
