MARCOS's Story
Marcos was a sad, frightened stray when we rescued him from the street and brought him to the shelter a year ago--which means he's now spent about half his young life here. This cutie has been waiting for someone to see what a good boy he is: he appears to be housebroken, rides well in the car, and after some initial excitement, he's a great leash walker. As a young dog, he has energy to burn--he loves to do zoomies, play fetch, and really likes it when you talk sweet to him in a soothing voice. Peanut butter, stuffies, and fetching balls are some of Marcos' favorite things, and he's interacted well with older, school-age kids. Our observation has been that he can be a little timid, but we think a calm, consistent home would do him a world of good. Marcos has been waiting a long time, but you can see in his eyes that he still has hope that his new family is out there and will find him soon.
