From the first few days being at WAHS, he was quickly noticed for his jovial, outgoing nature – and a healthy dose of spunky personality.

Above all, Marbles is a social butterfly; making new friends is one of his favorite pastimes. He’s yet to meet a person he doesn’t like! Marbles’ great interactions with people allowed him to quickly move up the volunteer level ranks, meaning he can get valuable experiences with even MORE new friends.

Marbles came to WAHS as a wandering stray dog, wearing a worn out bark collar, and was never reclaimed. In addition to his arrival circumstances as well as his clear dislike of being alone (which he vocalizes), Marbles absolutely needs to find a forever placement with frequent company, where he’s allowed to be himself.

A small-sized dog friend to bond with could significantly help Marbles, otherwise he’s well-suited to a home where someone’s around a majority of the day. Work-from-home or active retired folks are right up Marbles’ alley.

You have the power to change Marbles’ circumstances and welcome him into the life he’s always deserved. If you’re a home fit for Marbles, send in an online application on winonahumane.org/adopt to get started.

Additional bio info: male, black & white Fox Terrier mix, approximately 3 years old, small size (~27lbs), up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped
