These kids are very sweet, active, smart, playful and sociable. They are lucky little fighters too, as they fought Parvo and lived to tell the tale!If you are looking for a happy, loving, and adventurous dog, look no further than Maple! He loves food and treats, being with his two canine foster siblings, meeting new people, exploring the yard while hunting for sticks, and, most especially, playing with toys. He is still learning to do his business outside and is quickly learning to kennel. While he loves being with other dogs and people, he is also content being on his own and does perfectly fine in his kennel for several hours while his foster mom sleeps, goes to work, or does errands. He is an amazing pup!<br/><br/>Like any of our dogs, this beautiful puppy would make a great addition to an active home that will provide the love, structure, good leadership, activity and mental stimulation that his breed needs. Because of that, Maple's ideal owner will have prior GSD or other herding breed experience, and a friendly dog buddy for Maple. Even if you exercise and play with your dog daily in your fenced yard, please remember that you MUST still take your dog out on daily walks and outings, in order to provide sufficient stimulation, ward off boredom, and work on leash skills, and manners.<br/><br/>Maple's adoption fee is $425, all of which goes back into offseting our high-cost vetting expenses and rescuing more dogs. We are a 100% volunteer-run rescue group and rely on adoption fees and donations to continue saving lives. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal, deworming, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, heartworm tested if old enough (and treated if positive), and microchipped.
