Maple's Story

Location: Big Lake, MN

Are you looking for a super goofy, kinda crazy, a little stubborn, very loving pup with a touch of shyness? Then you have found your pup!

Maple is all of the above. Not a day goes by when we don't laugh at what she does, or question what she does (or how she does it). She is more kangaroo than dog most of the time and she doesn't seem like she has any intention of changing that.

Maple is 99% potty trained. She does still have an accident here and there if you aren't paying attention to let her out. She is not a fan of car rides. Short rides she does okay, but she likes to turn into a waterfall after about 10 minutes.

Maple is great with other dogs and she will need another dog in the home to help her adjust and feel comfortable. She is also great with cats. She does play with them as our cats enjoy playing with her.

She does well with kids, but would be best in a home without young kids, due to her tending to be more on the skiddish side, as well as her jumping.

Maple is a high energy pup who needs a fenced in yard to safely get her frequent zoomies out. She does pretty well on a leash, but she won't potty while she is leashed.

She loves to play with leaves and recently discovered that she thoroughly enjoys the pool and the hose. Watching her enjoy the simple things brings so much joy and laughter everyday.

While she definitely has her stubborn tendencies and little quirks, I know there is a perfect family for her out there that will love her just the way she is.

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
