Meet Maple! This sweet little girl is a beagle/hound mix weighing around 17lbs at 5-6 months old. Maple is a playful girl who loves toys and chasing after balls. She is obsessed with her doggie foster sister and always wants to play and follow her around. Even though she is a fun-loving and adventurous little girl, Maple will happily settle down in her crate or, even better, someone’s lap or couch once playtime is over! She is sleeping through the night in her crate, no problem, but is still working on house breaking. Maple is such a smart girl and has already learned to wait patiently for food and treats and she knows how to sit. She lights up the room with her fun little personality and brings so much joy to those around her. We want each adoption to be a good fit for the dog and the family. This will be a lifelong commitment - possibly 15 or 20 years! You owe it to yourself and your new family member to make the right choice. It's a big decision. Next, fill out an application. Be as specific as possible about your dog experience and what you are hoping to find in your new companion. A Cold Nose adoption counselor will contact you either via phone or email if there are any questions, then to arrange a meet and greet. Finally, meet your prospective new companion!
