Hi, I'm Maple.

Labrador mix | 55 lbs | About 6 years old

I came to the shelter after my previous owner could no longer care for me. I started chasing the kitties in the home and was put outside. After that, I started to wander off from home. The people here believe I was searching for food.

And the truth is... I'm a really sweet girl.

I'm gentle, well mannered, and as sweet as can be with my people!

Here's a little more about me:
Incredibly smart
Previous owner says I've done well with kids & other dogs
Looking for a home without cats, small animals, goats, or sheep

I grew up with my Labrador mom and lived with another dog too. However, food was something we had to compete over and it caused some fights. Because of that, feeding should be monitored or kept separate if there are other dogs in the home. I may feel happiest as the only dog If you have other dogs, a scheduled meet & greet is required.
