Gender: Female<br/>Breed: German Shepherd<br/><br/>About Maple:<br/>Maple first arrived at Parkland County Animal Control after being picked up as a stray and, sadly, was never claimed. Since then, she has been through a lot of change, but despite everything, this beautiful girl continues to show us just how special and loving she is. <br/><br/>Maple is an incredibly smart, loyal dog who loves her people HARD. She has excellent basic obedience, and walks like an absolute dream on leash!<br/><br/>The shelter environment and new situations can be a little overwhelming for Maple, and she may show some anxiety while she adjusts. Given everything she has experienced recently, we are looking for a patient family who understands that she will need time and the opportunity to decompress with yet another move. <br/><br/>Maple is OK with other dogs but prefers calm, respectful canine companions over excitable ones. She has also been successfully introduced to a cat!<br/><br/>Her ideal family will be familiar with her breed and committed to meeting her physical, mental, and emotional needs while continuing to build on the wonderful foundation she came to us with! <br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $475<br/><br/>Includes microchip, spay/neuter, all vaccines, and deworming.<br/>Please note: We adopt to force-free homes only.
