Hi! I’m Mabel, a young beautiful Pitty mix weighing about 45 pounds. I’m an affectionate, curious, and confident girl looking for my forever home. <br/><br/>I love watching squirrels and birds, playing with tennis balls and toys of all kinds, and enjoying a Kong filled with frozen treats. I also love car rides and will happily curl up on the seat and snooze.<br/><br/>I’m house trained and kennel trained, and I do great in my kennel! I’m used to relaxing in there while my foster family is at work. At night, I can sleep outside of my kennel and do just fine. I also know how to sit for treats and am working on my other basic manners.<br/><br/>I have a medium energy level and enjoy walks and playtime, but I settle down nicely when it’s time to relax.<br/><br/>I currently live with another dog and have regular dog visitors. I do best with slow introductions to new dogs so I have time to feel comfortable. Cats are still unknown, and I’d likely do best with older, respectful children.<br/><br/>I’m still working on not jumping when I’m excited and being less mouthy during play. I can also be protective of my food, so I’ll need continued consistency and training.<br/><br/>One last thing about me: I was left behind by my previous owner here in Minnesota and wasn’t in the best condition.
