Around two years old, she appears to be a cattle dog mix and brings all the intelligence and intensity that often comes with that breed type.<br/><br/>Maple lives in a foster home with other dogs and does well with them, but she needs slow, thoughtful introductions to new dogs. When meeting new people, Maple can be growly at first and may take a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe, her affectionate and playful side shines through.<br/><br/>On walks, Maple can be protective and alert to her surroundings. She would benefit from continued training and structured socialization to help her build confidence and learn appropriate responses in new situations. She is smart, eager to learn, and will thrive with an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time.<br/><br/>Maple is fully potty trained, comfortable on leash, and has completed her medical care.
