Mango

Mango is a 4 year old, black, female Scottish Terrier who came into our rescue program because she wasn’t a happy camper with a new baby and toddler in her home. She’d been very well loved and spoiled her whole life so will be an easy edition to a new Scottie lover’s home. She’s healthy, spayed, vaccinated, & heartworm/lyme tested negative. <br/>Mango is very friendly to adults and a big tail wagger. She likes to be near you but can also go off on her own to curl up in a doggy bed or be a couch potato. She can lay on you or right up next to you by the hour. She likes to watch and interact with tv and she likes her heating pad. She’s not good with young children or other pets, so we’re looking for a home for her where she can be the one and only. She’s unhappy in the City, so a suburban home would be needed. A strong fenced yard for her zoomies would be nice but she loves to walk on leash also. She has a high prey drive and loves to hunt if given the chance. Mango is active and solid and very much into everything, she’d excel at Barnhunt or FastCat. She’s housebroken and very clean. It wouldn’t be understated to say she’s a princess and looking for that special home. She’s great company and very affectionate, and you’ll really enjoy being with her! She loves her people and even loves all the strangers she meets. Very easy for a Scottie.
