This is a 14 week old Border Collie/Texas Heeler (which a Texas Heeler is not a purebred dog. It’s a mix between an Australian cattle dog and an Australian Shepherd) which means this pup is going to have a VERY high drive. She’s just a puppy so I will be looking for someone who is VERY active, can work her mind and body, and can exercise her daily. This is going to be a HIGHLY INTELLIGENT dog which means it’s going to outsmart most humans (I love it when a dog outsmarts a human. Those are my kind of dogs ??). If not kept busy and active it will herd things that you don’t want herded and WILL nip at people while doing it. These kind of dog’s aren’t meant to be kept in cages while you’re at work all day long. I personally have an Australian Shepherd. She is 10 years old, has breast cancer and just ran a 5k and never panted. Lol!
