Mandy is a very sweet 3-5 year old Poodle . She is a wonderful companion who will keep you smiling. She's shy at first but warms up quickly. she wants to stay close to her people and loves to snuggle. The perfect home for her would be one where someone is home more then not. She also tends to attach herself to the woman in the house first . A quieter home would be best for her. She doesn't like being in a crate but is doing well with housetraining. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
